Year 11 Get a Taste of A Level Languages!

We were delighted to welcome a team of five post graduate students from Liverpool Hope University to share their experiences of language learning with a group of Year 11 linguists.

Following our successful Sixth Form Open Evening in the autumn term the languages department has worked with colleagues from Hope University to develop an A Level taster course for students at St. Julie's.

Students undertook a series of language activities in French and Spanish to develop a greater understanding of the topics and themes that they will study when they start their A Level language courses at St. Julie's in September.

All students had a wonderful time, and learned lots of new things about languages at A Level and further opportunities to continue studying languages at university.

Our thanks go to Ms Davey for organising such an enjoyable event.
