Acting For The Camera!

Year 12 and 13 Drama students have had the invaluable experience of taking part in the Acting for the Camera project.

This was led by Leo Lollis, a professional actor who has appeared in a range of films and TV programmes including 'Hollyoaks' and 'The Royal Today'.

The students worked in small groups and were all given expert advice on camera techniques. They then devised short scenes lasting approx 3 minutes which were then filmed.

This took approximately two hours to shoot using a range of lighting and camera angles. It was an excellent experience giving the pupils a different insight into the world of acting.

The students will all receive a professional DVD of their work which will prove to be an excellent resource for forthcoming auditions. A premiere of the work (including a red carpet!) will be shown in the Dorothy Stang Theatre after half term. Keep checking the website for details!
