Farewell and Good Luck Year 13

Students in Year 13 have joined with staff to celebrate seven wonderful years together at St. Julie’s in the annual Leavers’ Mass. Celebrated this year by Father Tim, the Mass is always a very emotional occasion, and this year was no exception.

We saw laughter and tears in equal measure as our students took us through some of their memories of their time at St. Julie's, and Bridie, our Head Girl, gave a moving speech as she spoke about how much the passage of time has impacted on her perception of her school community and the wider world.

An important part of the service is the handing over of the ceremonial robes from our current 1804 Society to our new 1804 Society, and we congratulate our new Head Girl, Lily, as she takes her place in a long continuation of fine students leading our student body.

With our thanks to Father Tim for making the time to celebrate with us today, we wish all of our leavers every success in the next stage of their life journey and as always, we hope that whilst they may leave St. Julie’s, St. Julie’s will never leave them.
