Students from across our new Year 7 got the chance to meet each other as a year group for the first time at our student welcome event this week.

Always a highlight of our school calendar, the new students who have recently received news of their place at St. Julie's came along with their parents.

As our event began, the students made their way to the Chapel to engage and be entertained by Overwhelm as they sang some familiar songs and learned some new ones.

Meanwhile, parents visited the Dorothy Stang Theatre for a presentation from Mrs McCourt talking about what their daughters can expect from St. Julie's, and what we'll be expecting of them!

The two groups were then reunited virtually with a video broadcast of the new students performing 'Qui'l Est Bon' beamed into the theatre to the watching parents.

Thank you to everybody involved in making the event such a success, and we hope it helps our newest members of the community make a flying start in September.
