Fair Trade in Humanities at St. Julie's!

Fair Trade in Humanities at St. Julie's!

Fair Trade Fortnight took place last week and the week before, so Ms Jones gathered together a group of keen geographers to head up a campaign to raise the profile of the importance of people buying Fair Trade goods so that workers involved in their production receive a fairer wage for their work.

The girls worked really hard with Ms Jones and the donations of Fair Trade goodies they had been given (thank you to the generous contributors of the goodies!), and raffled off the products.

There were 3 prizes available; Mrs Naylor won 3rd prize, Annas in Year 7 won 2nd prize, and Leah in Year 8 won the 1st prize hamper.

Well done and thank you to all involved!
