International Women's Day

On Friday 8th March 2019 both staff and students celebrated International Women's Day by thinking about the everyday women who empower us each day. The day began and ended with students singing/playing piano as projections of our everyday inspirational women, from both staff and students, were displayed on the school projectors.

Throughout the day students were set various challenges to complete which included; complete a random act of kindness, help a teacher tidy up and tell three women why they inspire you. This was to spread some positivity and to remember how far we have come in women's rights.

Students and staff were each given an extra special thank you card that they could give to one special women in their lives. This was a heart warming activity that helped to highlight those important women in all our lives.

Thank you for all who got involved in the tasks, the winners will be announced shortly!
