The Peace Garden at St. Julie’s further grew over half-term with the installation of Peace Stations at each of our 16 olive trees. 

Devised by our 1804 Society, each station is a reflection on the ways in which peace can be grown.

The ways covered include: embracing diversity, passion for learning, political action, ethical enterprise and promoting mental well-being.   Each topic highlights an inspirational person and an opportunity to reflect on how each individual can be a peace grower!

Included in the stations are St. Julie herself, Malala Yousufzai, Eloise Cobell, Katherine Johnson and Millicent Fawcett!

Each station also features a significant year in the history of the Sisters of Notre and our school.  Of course, this year is a special year as we mark the 50^th anniversary of the canonisation of our patron saint!  You can watch out for more information on this year’s activities here on this website.
