New Reporting Portal for Harmful Internet Content

The UK Safer Internet Centre has created a brand new reporting portal which can be used both by children and adults to report issues such as online abuse or harrassment; threats; impersonation; unwanted sexual advances; violent or pornographic content; and content relating to self-harm or suicide.

Many of us know how difficult and frustrating it can sometimes be if you need to report anything, but there is help available. The service has been designed to:

- Provide information on community standards
- Give advice on how to report problems
- Mediate where appropriate or explain why content hasn’t been removed
- Provide assistance in removing harmful content from platforms

See HERE for further information.

The 'Advice' page gives information as to issues that cannot be reported via this portal - but also gives information about what to do with regard these issues and where they can be reported.
