Fun in the Park

What were you doing two days after Christmas?

If you live near Wavertree Park, you may have seen the very colourful sight of over 200 runners hurtling, jogging, walking, dawdling with dogs and pushing prams around the park.

It was the 35th annual CAFOD Fun Run and, once more, St. Julie’s played a part in making it a success.   CAFOD do amazing work in the developing world and it was good to be part of this fundraising effort at Christmas.

Maisie and Jemma from Year 9 and Daisy, Emily and Niamh from Year 8 joined Mrs McCourt and her children and Mr Anderson and his family (including dog, Diego), in cheering on the participants, giving out water, certificates and, very importantly, energy-giving jelly babies!

The Fun Run is on the 27th December every year at 1:00 p.m.   Why not put it in your diary now?
