You might think that the first Saturday morning of the Christmas holidays was a day to lie in!  That was not the case, however, for five wonderful members of St. Julie’s Sixth Form.

Isobel, Olivia, Speranza, Natasha and Josh all gave up their Saturday morning to help with preparations for the parish of St. Mary’s Christmas lunch.   When they arrived there was merely a fairly chilly church hall.  When they left, the place was beautifully and festively decorated and ready for the lunch that took place on Christmas Day itself.

The whole event was a great success and we’d like to express our thanks to the parishioners of St. Mary’s who gave us this chance to be involved!  We look forward to participating again this year!
