On Friday, 14th December, Overwhelm – our Music Ministry Team – headed off to Nugent Central Office on Edge Lane to join the wonderful people there celebrate their Christmas Mass.

It was a joy to be there and the Overwhelmers played and sang brilliantly!  The congregation even applauded after one of the practice hymns.  The celebration was led by Archbishop Malcolm who told us that Jesus was a party animal and that rejoicing together is very much a Christian activity which enhances how we feel about each other!  He praised the work undertaken by Nugent who stand by people in a whole range of challenging situations.   

It was a honour to be there and the Overwhelm team deserve praise for yet another occasion when they’ve made a difference!
