We'd like to say a big thank you to Mrs Fairhurst, a grandparent of one our students who for the past six years has generously made two Christmas cakes that she has donated to the school as raffle prizes.

The cakes are a work of art and are a focus of great excitement every year at Advent. The school would like to acknowledge the considerable financial cost and time commitment from Mrs Fairhurst in this charitable gesture.

Her talents are widely appreciated and she is a great example to all students in sharing a talent for the benefit of others.

We were delighted that Mrs Fairhurst was able to attend our Prize Night this year to collect a special award.
