Congratulations to Tyler, Lois and Elyse who succesfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh award after a two day 25km hike!
The candidates went to Tarporley in Cheshire and hiked around the Beeston area. The girls completed 25km over the 2 days, planning their own routes and being completely self-sufficient throughout.
During the assessment they cooked their own meals and camped out for the night.
The candidates were delighted when they were awarded their pass by Mr Neil Bothwell, Duke of Edinburgh Assessor. New skills, resilience and team working were learned by the girls over the weekend and they have even tempered their fear of cows to get these wonderful pictures!
