We'd like to congratulate former student Hayley Morson for recently reaching the finals of the Young Woman Engineer of the Year award, a prestigious competition won by the IET.
Hayley joined St Julie's in 1994, before graduating in 2005 from the University of Liverpool with an M Eng in Aerospace Engineering.
Hayley now works for BAE at Wharton where she is developing ground systems on the Typhoon Supersonic Fighter, one of the most technologically advanced aircraft in the world.
We were delighted to welcome Hayley back into school one more time to receive a special achievement award at our prize night!
