Year 12 Do Some Blue Sky Thinking

Year 12 students have reached for the sky as they pitched new airline ideas as part of a Liverpool John Moores Workshop.

The event was the first session of our new Year 12 enrichment programme, and saw a team from John Moores University engaging the students in a series of talks and practical activities, covering subjects including:

  • - Differences between GCSE and A Level, including: becoming a more autonomous learner; taking responsibility
  • - Progression pathways to university
  • - Planning time effectively e.g. balancing work, life, relationships and studies
  • - Team building activities (how to pitch a business idea) to help form friendships with new students and to encourage collaboration of individuals that may not have worked together previously.

Thanks very much to the LJMU team for coming to see us!
