While we encourage all our students to get some rest, relaxation and fun during the Summer, it's often all too easy to spend the entire six weeks without picking up a pen, and that can sometimes prevents students from getting the smoothest start to the new academic year.

Instead, we make sure that students leave with bridging work which helps to keep their skills honed, as well as introducing some expecations of new structures and standards if students will be starting new courses.

This year Mr Radburn was very pleased to get some excellent work back from students moving into Year 8 who demonstrated some great skill in colour toning with different media and realising coherent design elements in their DT work.
