Congratulations to Much Woolton Primary School!

Congratulations to Much Woolton Primary School, who were the winners of our St. Julie's Cluster Year 3/4 Indoor Athletics Competition!

The event was organised by Mrs Rainey-Barwise in collaboration with the South Liverpool Sport Partnership, and saw St. Gregory's, Norman Pannell and Much Woolton competing for winner's medals.

The events were run by members of St. Julie's Leadership Academy, which monitors leadership and voluntary hours undertaken by our pupils in order to gain leadership qualifications in conjunction with the South Liverpool Sports Partnership.

Pictured above are students from Year 10 who were the Junior Sports Leaders for the day. They helped to organise the students in to groups, assisted with the activities, gave advice and support to the young visitors and helped to make the event a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Head teacher, Mr Alderman, said "I am very proud of our Junior Sports Leaders and the work that they have done with our visitors from a number of Primary Schools today. Many of the staff have spoken positively about the professional way in which they conducted themselves and their care and support for the young boys and girls. This is another example of how St. Julie's Catholic High School gives opportunities to our students that enables them to develop and share their gifts and talents as they grow and develop into confident young women, taking up their place in our society in so many different ways and giving back to the local community."
