Hours of Work: 17.50 hours per week, Term Time Only
Grade 2: Point 10 [Range: 10-15] Salary: £9.24 per hour, £7,405.86 per annum (actual salary)

St Julie’s Catholic High School is a popular and oversubscribed school for girls, situated in the conservation area of Woolton Village, South Liverpool. In September 2017, we moved into our new £23 million school building featuring a state of the art Performing Arts Faculty with sprung floor Dance Studio, designated Drama Theatre, Music Recording studios, Gymnasium, Sports Hall, outdoor netball and tennis courts and classrooms for theory work.

An opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join a vibrant, and superbly resourced Performing Arts Faculty from September 2018, to provide technical and general support to staff and students under the direction/instruction of the Curriculum Leader, including preparation and routine maintenance of resources/equipment and facilities in accordance with health & safety standards and class requirements.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, creative, flexible and enthusiastic Performing Arts Technician, with a good all-round knowledge of setting out PE resources, theatre lighting, sound systems and stage management, who is committed to learning new skills and sharing expertise with others. You will be working closely with an enthusiastic team of teachers and support staff to raise standards of achievement and develop a full range of performing arts opportunities both in school and in the community. Performing Arts at St Julie’s is ‘highly successful and loved by many pupils’ (Ofsted, April 2018).
