Year 12 English Language students enjoyed a Masterclass delivered by Dr Alex Baratta of the University of Manchester.
The presentation and interactive workshop included thought-provoking discussion on accentism, language and identity and accent preference. We look forward to seeing Dr Baratta again next year to explore issues from the Year 13 English Language A level curriculum such as World English and the future of English.
