One of the places the Sisters of Notre Dame work is Nicaragua in Central America.  They work in education and have set up schools in the most deprived and challenging of circumstances.

There has been recent unrest on the streets of the capital of Managua so as an act of solidarity with everyone working in education over there, students and staff have had pictures taken while holding the Nicaraguan flag. 

Over 100 students gave up time to come and participate on a windy day.  The pictures have been seen by people over there and we know they have been a source of encouragement.  Thanks to all involved.
