Reminder about considerate parking and road safety

May 8, 2017

Whilst we have got all the building work on site, as well as Redrow homes building development opposite school as well as other residential developments in the very near locality, parking has become a real issue for both the school and local residents.

All parents/carers are advised to be aware that we have received complaints about inconsiderate parking and inappropriate stopping outside school, and on the zebra-crossing, both before school and at the end of the school day.

All these actions can results in points on your driving licence and hefty fines. Can all parents/carers please drop off and pick up your daughters away from school. There is usually adequate parking each day on the High Street.

Can I also remind parents/carers that Speke Road is a 20mph zone. You may have also noticed that the school supports the “Slow down for Bobby” campaign with banners outside school. Can I urge all parents/carers to continue to follow all rules and regulations as outlined in the High Way Code to avoid prosecution and fines. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
