VIP Visitor for Year 7 Heritage Group

The Year 7 Heritage group had a VIP visitor on Wednesday as they met and interviewed Mrs Molly McTegart, the 101 year old Aunt of Mrs Sewell, who is a former Notre Dame pupil. Mrs Sewell's mum and great grandmother also attended Notre Dame schools in Liverpool, making it many generations of Notre Dame! Mrs McTegart attended Notre Dame Everton Valley from 1921 to 1932 as she went all the way through from the prep school to the seniors. 

The students asked interesting and varied questions and she regaled them with memories from her youth as she recalled school trips, everyday life, receiving waitress service in the dining room and the strict uniform rules!

Congratulations to the Heritage Team on their insightful questioning, and a very big thank you to Mrs McTegart for taking the time to join us.
