Leading the Reading Revolution

The English department was joined on Friday by Natalie Hughes-Crean from The Reader.

Along with Miss Sutton, six Year 12 girls rediscovered their love of reading for pleasure and are now ready, willing and fully trained Reading Revolutionaries.

Through a hands on approach, all six girls learned new techniques to help younger pupils discover that reading isn't just for school, that it can be 'fun,' 'relaxing' and can 'expand the imagination.'

Over the coming weeks, the girls will begin their roles as mentors, inspiring the younger years to pick up a book and read for pleasure.

Good luck to the team leading the revolution!
