Students have helped families who have lost relatives to cancer by singing this weekend at the Marie Curie Memorial Service in St. Peter's Church in Woolton.

We've received a card from Ruth Pryce, the Chaplain at Marie Curie thanking out staff and students for their contribution.

She said: ""I just wanted to say how wonderful the girls were and how much their singing and the music was appreciated by everyone who attended.  Through this service we can offer our friends and families space to remember who has died - this is very much enhanced by the music".

We'd like to echo her thanks to everybody who took part on the day.
