Pupils in Key Stage 3 Art and D&T were asked to design a poster that endorsed the City Council message to drivers that speeds should not exceed 20mph in built up areas in Liverpool.

The competition was delivered in conjunction with the locally based engineering company AMEY and the winning entry will not only be used on road signs locally, but also be used nationally as they seek to promote both Road Safety and Women into Engineering campaigns.

We had over 200 entries, all of a high standard and well done to our overall winner Ellie Simister in Y9.
