Carousel Places of Worship Visit for Year 9 Students!
A number of our year 9 pupils have attended a Carousel Places of Worship Trip. The trip involved visiting 3 Places of Worship from 3 major world religions with Mrs Cobourne and Mr Marks.

The day started with the girls having a guided tour and chat around Princes Road Synagogue. Here they were able to see what worship is like for Jews and they were able to learn more about the Jewish faith.

Next up was a guided tour around the Al-Rahma Mosque in Toxteth were the girls were given a full tour, the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the Muslim faith.

Lunchtime was spent on the grounds of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King where quality time was spent reflecting on the two religious places of worship already visited that morning.

The day was rounded off with a guided tour of the Metropolitan Cathedral where the girls were able to explore more of the Christian faith.

This was a fantastic trip packed full of learning about world religion facts and one where our pupils truly lived out part of our school mission statement to respect and embrace the diversity of all God's people!
