A Fond Farewell to the Class of 2015!

Emotions ran high on the last day of half term as staff joined our Year 13 students for a poignant celebration of the 'Class of 2015!'

The day began with the traditional leavers' breakfast in the school dining room with Year 13 form tutors. This gave a great opportunity for sharing stories, signing a multitude of different objects, and of course - some selfies!

Following the early dismissal of younger students, staff joined the Year 13 students in the Dorothy Stang Theatre for a Mass celebrated by Father Phil Inch. The service included reflections, happy memories, messages of good luck from staff and the ceremonial exchange of gowns from the outgoing 1804 society to the incoming members.

Although many, many tears were shed the occasion was a joyous one and with a great sense of pride we watch our Class of 2015 go out into the world, hoping always that although our students may be leaving St. Julie's, St. Julie's will never leave them.

On behalf of all staff and students we'd like to say a big thank you to Father Phil and to our Chaplain Mr Anderson for all of his hard work in preparing for the service.
