One of our classrooms was turned into a superb restaurant today as Year 11 Catering students undertook their final practical exam. 

Students were required to research national cuisine from the country of their choice and then devise and prepare a 2 course meal.

The aroma in the student kitchens was fantastic as the candidates worked hard preparing their dishes from scratch. This included making their own pasta and pastry and baking their own bread.

Sr. Margaret, our Chair of Governors, paid a visit to the exam with Mr Alderman and was hugely impressed by the skill, industry and diligence on display.
