Student Christmas Magazine Selling Strongly!

Over the past month the pupils at St Julie’s, along with several members of the English department, have been creating a Christmas magazine that has gone on sale around school this week in the lead up to the Christmas holidays. A team of girls from across the school have given up their free time to help carry out a variety of activities to help put the magazine together.

The magazine contains many enjoyable features such as Christmas poems written by pupils from all different year groups, an informative piece about the recent St Julie’s Shoebox Appeal in which pupils from across the school generously put together shoeboxes with food and gifts for children living in less fortunate parts of the world and many more festive treats and activities.

The purpose of creating this magazine was to showcase the fantastic talents we have at St Julie’s and to spread some festive cheer along the way! It has been a great opportunity for staff and pupils to work together to produce a magazine that everyone associated with St Julie’s can be proud of. It has been part of various Christmas fundraisers for Marie Curie with the proceeds from sales going to this charity. So far we have raised over eighty pounds and the count is still rising which is a wonderful effort from everyone involved.
