Year 9 Options
We have reached an important stage in the year for pupils in Year 9, who are shortly to make their choices for options subjects for Years 10 and 11. We have prepared information to try and help both pupils and parents make as informed a decision as possible.
Guidance booklets and taster choice sheets have been issued to students, who have also been shown the following presentation:
The timeline for choosing options is as follows:
Thursday 21st January: Year 9 Parents' Meeting
Friday 22nd January: Launch of option choices with students. Taster sheets handed out.
Friday 29th January: Taster Sheets collected in.
Friday 5th February: Preferences sheets to students.
W/C 8th February: Taster lessons
Friday 11th February: Preference sheets returned during Form Period
Friday 19th March: Option blocks published
Friday 30th April: Option choices collected in
