Year 11 Graduation 2012

Congratulations to Year 11 who joined with parents, family members and school staff to celebrate their graduation from St. Julie's last week.

The ceremony took place at school, where the Sports Hall was transformed into a place of celebration. A service of thanksgiving began proceedings, with performances from our chamber choir and dance troupe.

This was followed by the formal presentation of our recently reaccredited Artsmark Gold Award to Mrs Doherty, Head of Expressive Arts, by Emma Smith, Educational Liaison Officer from the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse, and someone who has worked closely with the school supporting Expressive Arts Education.

Our students, all robed in formal navy gowns, then received certificates and some mementos in a formal presentation from our special guests, Emma Smith, and Rachel Brown who we were able to announce has been selected to represent Great Britain in Ladies' Football at the forthcoming London Olympics.

The event was a great celebration of all that our students have achieved, and we wish them every success in their bright futures.

We hope to see many of the students return to us in September, and Sixth Form enrolment takes place on Thursday 23rd August (GCSE Results Day) from 10am until 2pm.
