Dig It Club Branch Out!
Pupils from the Dig iT club were invited to work with Woolton in Bloom to plant bedding around the village cross.
Rain didn't stop play as the year 8 and year 7 pupils planted white flowering begonias and pink geraniums to contrast with the black cross in the heart of the village.
Community links will be developed further next week with students from other year groups working painting and planting different aspects around the area.
It is also hoped that the school Dig iT club and Faith Garden can be used in future to support the Woolton in Bloom entry in the National Competition and further support, enhance and develop our community links.
