Year 7 have been flexing their linguistic muscles in a spelling competition with a twist - the entire contest was conducted in French and Spanish!
The competition, organised by our MFL Department, pitted a representative from each group against each other in a two stage contest.
After the first elimination round, two students went head to head in a sudden death contest. The spelling talents of our contestants meant that sudden death went on for a long time!
Congratulations to our two ultimate winners: Amber (for French) and Hannah (for Spanish) each win a £20 cinema voucher, with a £5 WHSmith voucher for the gallant runners up. Well done everyone for a fantastic event!
