Foundation Governors are appointed by the Archbishop to assist him by sustaining and developing the Catholic ethos and distinctive Catholic nature of the school in which they serve.

Whilst it may not always be possible to find an appointment within your own parish, there are many areas that require foundation governors. We have 240 schools in 8 Local Authorities
